The Role
We are seeking two motivated Junior Quality Assurance Analysts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include assisting with technical problem-solving tasks such as API integrations, automated testing, and administrative duties, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to document and resolve a wide range of quality and support challenges. This position requires a balance of technical aptitude, business acumen, troubleshooting skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll work closely with our team to maintain and enhance the reliability of our software. We offer a thorough induction program led by industry experts to help you quickly become familiar with our products and internal processes. Additionally, you’ll receive mentored training designed to develop the skills essential for success in this role. The role can be performed entirely remotely, and provision of hardware will be made.
The Candidate
We are looking for a technically minded, intelligent and enthusiastic individual who will relish the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth of this dynamic business. The ideal applicant will have some experience in software testing or a strong interest in building a career in QA. You will work closely with developers and QA Analysts to ensure high-quality releases and a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent adherence to QA standards throughout agile development.
- Verify software development to ensure finished product quality.
- Systematically record QA activities in agile user stories and backlogs.
- Contribute to ongoing QA process enhancements through retrospective sessions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers and quality teams) in agile development
Requirements
Essential
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with manual testing or a keen interest in learning QA processes
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable
- Familiarity with test management tools
- Basic knowledge of any scripting language or interest in automation
- Basic programming knowledge, preferably in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- Exposure to multi-tenanted SaaS applications or cloud platforms
- Understanding of Agile principles and routines
