The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to delivering exceptional software quality. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to solve technical challenges, including API integrations, automated testing, and administrative tasks. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to document and resolve a diverse range of quality and support issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. This position requires advanced technical proficiency, strong business knowledge, effective troubleshooting skills, and exceptional communication abilities. As an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a key role in upholding and improving the reliability of our software by applying your skills and insights within a collaborative team environment. While we provide comprehensive onboarding to familiarize you with our products and internal processes, we value your prior experience in QA and your ability to quickly adapt and contribute. The role can be performed entirely remotely, and provision of hardware will be made.
The Candidate
We are looking for a technically minded, intelligent and enthusiastic individual who will relish the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth of this dynamic business. The ideal applicant will be passionate about delivering high-quality applications, with experience in both manual and automated testing. While automation experience is not a requirement, familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent adherence to QA standards throughout agile development.
- Verify software development to ensure finished product quality.
- Systematically record QA activities in agile user stories and backlogs.
- Contribute to ongoing QA process enhancements through retrospective sessions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers and quality teams) in agile development
Requirements
Essential
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports
- Familiarity with API testing tools and version control systems
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Basic programming knowledge, preferably in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- Understanding of Agile principles and routines
Desirable
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Experience with security and performance testing, including knowledge of k6, BurpSuite or JMeter
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their role in the QA process
- Knowledge of multi-tenanted SaaS applications
- Possession of a Quality Assurance certification (e.g., ISEB/ISTQB)
